Tony Beaven is a Board-appointed General Manager and financial services executive whose career has been built across every level of the financial advice profession — from financial adviser in retail, corporate and private banking environments through to Regional Manager, Head of Advice, General Manager, COO and enterprise executive.

That journey has given him a rare, inside-out understanding of how advice businesses actually operate — commercially, operationally, culturally and regulatorily. He has led advice practices, licensees and national advice networks across Australia and the United Kingdom, operating at scale across highly regulated environments.

Tony has carried statutory licence accountability as Head of Compliance and AFSL Responsible Manager (RG105), with direct responsibility for advice governance, risk, compliance and regulatory engagement with ASIC, APRA, AUSTRAC and UK regulators. He has rebuilt governance and conduct frameworks, restored regulator confidence and embedded enterprise-grade accountability across complex advice organisations.

His leadership sits at the intersection of advice quality, customer outcomes, operating discipline and commercial performance. He is frequently appointed by Boards, founders and investors to lead advice businesses through periods of growth, regulatory uplift, operating-model redesign and enterprise transformation — where advice professionalism, conduct standards, leadership capability and enterprise value must move forward together.
