Finalist for the 2026 Alumni of he Year Social Impact Award

Today I received news that truly stopped me in my tracks, being nominated as a Finalist for the Charles Sturt University 2026 Alumni of the Year (Social Impact). 

I feel honoured, humbled, proud, and deeply emotional. This recognition means a great deal to me personally, but even more importantly, it reflects the life-changing stories of the people I’ve been privileged to support across many countries.

Working in the fields of Ethics, Culture, Leadership and Emotional Intelligence has shown me one powerful truth: real impact isn’t measured in money. 

Yes, I’ve lost a small fortune along the way, but what I’ve gained is priceless.

Reading the stories and assignments from individuals who received complimentary full scholarships through the Guild of Ethics, Culture & Leadership is something I can never put a price on. 

When someone shares how understanding culture, leadership ethics or emotional intelligence will change their life, their career, or their organisation, it creates a buzz of satisfaction and pride that money simply cannot buy.

Every story makes me want to give back more.

Every reflection reminds me why this work matters.

Every transformation reinforces that social impact is built one human being at a time.

This finalist recognition is not mine alone.

It belongs to all associates, graduates, and corporate members of the Guild of Ethics, Culture & Leadership. Your courage to learn, your commitment to ethical leadership, and your dedication to shaping culture across organisations worldwide are the true heartbeat of this achievement.
